Ask Thomas – Adult Toy Advice

How did you get into the toy business? By accident actually. I applied for a wholesale sales job at a company called Stormy Leather in 1998 and didn’t really know what they sold. But they hired me and my first wholesale show was in Las Vegas a week after, and I was hooked.

What is your favorite part of the day? The calls I get to make to my clients when we get new items in!

What is the strangest toy story you’ve heard? This is a hard one, because there are so many! One of the most surprising one was this young guy that came into a shop I was managing, asked me for the largest E-stim plug I had along with a control box.  I showed him the one that was about twice the size of a Red Bull can. He said “SOLD!” and asked if I had any samples of lube, and if he could use the bathroom. Not five minutes later, he had the piece in his ass and was ready to go dancing. That’s just the one off the top of my head.

Where do you test out these toys? I test them out in Casa De Thomas! I sometimes get my boys to try out new stuff as well, to get as much feedback as I can.

What is your favorite toy? The newest and weirdest of course.

How long is your beard and how long did it take to grow? My beard is currently over 14 inches. It’s been less than 3 years since I’ve cut it.

What advice would you offer a newbie to toys? Remember to take it slow and use LOTS of lube!!!!

What is the biggest no-no when it comes to toys? Don’t let your eyes be bigger than your hole!
