The Long Island Ravens, MC are turning 21, and like years gone by, we are going to mark this one with a BANG.
The L.I. Ravens M.C. is a member of the Atlantic Motorcycle Coordinating Council (AMCC). The AMCC was founded in 1969 as a forum for discussion among members clubs sharing a commonality of interest and geography. Their purpose is to encourage participation at sanctioned events coordinate event dates to prevent date conflicts between clubs, provide a discussion forum for items of club interest, and promote enjoyment of motorcycling, the leather/levi lifestyle and other activities among its members.
We do our best to support the tradition of hospitality and reciprocated trust to other men in our leather tribe. We recognize the special bonds in our brother leather clubs, and always welcome the opportunity to meet and party with friends and guests. If your club is coming to Long Island, please let us know way ahead of time. We’ll make sure your stay is as comfortable as we can it.
The L.I. Ravens M.C. meet monthly — normally on the third Saturday of the month. We also hold, at regular intervals, club events around Long Island and at various clubs. Check the our Events Calendar for specific dates and times.
The L.I. Ravens M.C. raises money through various events and activities in support of AIDS/HIV and L.I. gay causes and projects. Moneys collected throughout the year are distributed annually at our Anniversary Dinner. To date the Ravens have awarded over $96,000.00 to local charities and service organizations.
The L.I. Ravens M.C. participate in many local, national and private social gatherings. We proudly support the our local events and volunteer our services whenever possible. The Ravens also sponsor several social gatherings including motorcycle day rides, camping weekends and “after-hour” parties. While some of these events are “members only”, many are open to all those interested in attending. Please contact us if you’d like to know when and where, or check our Events Calendar listings.
