I am from India. a very homophobic place in asia. I m studying at a college in India. My college friends are very homophobic too. I too tried to open myself up about my sexuality, but the hatred in this country for gay people is prohibiting me to do so. I tried to study in less homophobic places like NY, MA, IO, CA, but was low on funds. My parents do not have that kind of money to send me abroad. So I have to study here. Everyday, many people, Teachers, celebrities, and off course the students use hate speeches and comments about gay people. Its just very suffering to live here.
