The Depressed Gay Black Gay Man site deals examines and explores depression among black gay men.

Both sites are invaluable for exploring subjects which are not often (nor easily) discussed among the black gay community.

As an example, I was interviewed on video by Black Gay Man’s Blog for its on-going exploration of interracial gay dating. As a non-black man who is partnered with a black man, BGMB was interested in hearing about interracial dating from a non-black perspective. What was extraordinary was the response to the video from black men. The response was full of broad passion — both negative and positive — and it began a dialogue on the site about issues within the black gay arena which are too often left untouched. Needless to say, I, as a non-black man, didn’t come out of it unscathed.

Thanks for this site! It’s terrific and an invaluable resource in itself.
