Seasons of Pride is pleased to present the Gay Pride or LGBTQ Pride Calendar for 2018.  You will find Gay Pride events, LGBT Film Festivals, and the Gay Travel Events like Gay Ski Weeks. We do our best to try and keep up with all the events, but sometimes we miss one or two.

When is Gay Pride?

“CSD” stands for Christopher Street Day, a common name for European Prides that honors the Stonewall Riots that took place on Christopher Street in New York City in 1969.


  • Palm Springs International Film Festival – The Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) is one of the largest film festivals in North America, welcoming 135,000 attendees annually for its lineup of new and celebrated international features and documentaries.   • Gay Ski Week – Aspen Gay Ski Week is a week-long LGBTQ winter event held in January each year. Aspen is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains just hours from Denver by car and 30 minutes by plane from Aspen Airport. We have plenty to do for everyone..even if you don’t ski or board. We have daily skiing/boarding on one of the four mountains in the area with guides for all abilities.   • Midsumma Festival – Midsumma, Melbourne’s annual Queer Celebration, is a federation of arts and cultural events spread over 85 different venues throughout Melbourne and Regional Victoria. The festival is presented over three weeks from mid-January to February and, having been held annually since 1988, is a significant attraction on the Melbourne festival calendar.   • Reelout Queer Film + Video Festival in Kingston – Reelout exists to celebrate queer media arts and to contribute to community vitality by programming materials that focus on issues of sexuality, race, culture, religion, class, gender, ability, health and age, thereby purposefully drawing together and initiating challenging dialogue among disparate members of the queer communities in Kingston and the surrounding area as well as between the larger Kingston community and the queer community.   • Pride: Bloomington’s LGBTQ Film Festival – PRIDE is a Bloomington, IN film festival exploring a wide variety of issues and situations involving the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer communities. PRIDE programs a variety of live performance, lecture, public participation events and films that express a wide range of viewpoints and feature many different personality types and situations, advocating community-wide attitudes of awareness, acceptance, and appreciation of diversity.     Queer Azaadi Mumbai Pride 2018 – Queer Azaadi Mumbai (QAM) is an expression, a voice, a celebration and a platform to ask for equal rights of LGBTIQ individuals. This collective of organizations and individuals comes together to organize the Queer Azaadi March, or Pride March, in Mumbai each year. Right from protests against the insensitive depiction of queer individuals in media to organizing community events that address awareness issues, QAM has remained on the forefront of many such activities through these years.   • Out in the Past – The introduction and promotion of LGBT History Month (UK) by Schools OUT UK in 2005 has significantly enhanced and further validated awareness of and interest in LGBT and Human Rights Campaigns of the second half of the 20th century. The associated and growing interest in ‘LGBT History’ has created a growing public demand for readings of that past, that has, in turn, encouraged popular and academic research into that past. However, despite the increasing popular demand for such history, it still an area of study that in the UK is very much in its infancy compared to the remarkable advances made elsewhere.   • The National Gay Pilots Association (NGPA) has announced the 2018 Palm Springs Winter Warm-Up and Industry Expo presented by United Airlines.   • National Student Pride – Held in London since 2014 the three-day spectacle celebrates our mission to be the pride of conversation. It is centered around a daytime festival free at the point of entry with panels, the largest free LGBT job fair, a performance stage and so much more. This is the centerpiece of a whole weekend of club nights, parties, cinema screenings and events spread over three days held every year during LGBT History Month in February.   • Mardi Gras Film Festival – QueerScreen – There have been lesbian and gay film festivals in Sydney since 1978. Initially, these were run by the Australian Film Institute. In 1986, the AFI partnered with what was then the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, to present an annual ‘Sydney Gay Film Week’during the Mardi Gras festival.   • Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras (NSW) – SGLMG has existed since 1978 primarily for the benefit of Sydney’s LGBTQI community, the enjoyment of a wider audience and as a global beacon of diversity, acceptance, and LGBTQI rights.   • LesBiGay Youth Wintermeeting 2018 – A must for all winter fans, but also all snow-shame could inspire the winter meeting. You spend a week with 40 adolescents and young adults up to 27 years in the Pitztal in Tyrol. Skiing and snowboarding are not the only program spots this week, and many other activities are offered.   • Utah Gay Ski Weekend – When we decided to expand the Elevation brand to a new resort, Park City was at the top of the list from the very beginning. It is an amazing world-class resort.   • Gay & Lesbian Travel Expo at ITB – Gay & Lesbian travel is visible at ITB Berlin since 2003 but it became one of the “established ITB travel segments” in 2010. In the meantime, the Gay & Lesbian Travel Pavilion has become an increasingly important landmark.
