Gay bear (GB) meets a really nice handsome straight bear (SB) at work… and because SB is really nice (Physical and Personal), and because a bear is a bear, GB falls in love with the SB. SB welcomes the GB’s friendly gestures, however, keeps flirting with women (Ewww). GB realize that there is no way he is going to get his hands (or any other limbs) around SB, but cannot help being too friendly with SB. Now, GB is in tight spot: he does not want to scare SB away by being too close, but at the same time…he cannot hold himself back, as when he sees SB, he jumps around him like a dog wanting to play Frisbee… WHAT DO YOU THINK GB SHOULD DO? PS : GB IS…

Living the Difference

Living the Difference

I am gay and live the difference, bringing my experiences to Memoir of Being Gay in America. I am an author on a mission to educate the world’s population about understanding and accepting people who are gay. My book, "Living the Difference", is an important resource for young gay men living with fear, shame or self-loathing; or for anyone coming to terms with a friend or family member’s coming out. I told my story not to shock, offend or “convert” anyone, but simply to lay out a roadmap for acceptance. The book lights a candle against the darkness of ignorance. Editorial reviews of my book call "Living the Difference", “a fascinating journey no gay author has been able to capture to date,” “conquering the final frontier of bigotry and prejudice,”…

Are You Ready To Come Out To Your Parents?

Advice
[caption id="" align="alignright" width="300" caption="Image via Wikipedia"][/caption] Coming Out To Your Parents Way too many parent child relationships suffer because of the fact that coming out to parents causes a lot of stress. This can be a very emotional decision and as a gay person you should prepare yourself for this. There is no use having this very important talk with them if you are still unsure about your own sexual orientation. Do not blurt out a half-truth, but rather explain to them that have an attraction to people of the same sex and ask them for their support and advice; This way you get your parents on your side right from the early stages of coming out. In the case where you may be settled into the gay life…

Several Recommendations When Coming Out Gay

Advice
If you feel coming out as gay is going to change your life in big ways, you are likely correct. Most people who go through this find it easier to do when they give some serious thought to developing a real strategy. This strategy should take into consideration the needs and feelings of the people who you love the most. You can't just blurt out this news at an odd moment when everyone happens to be together. It is going to ultimately turn out the best for everyone involved if you are gentler in your approach. Spend some time thinking about each individual person and how they are likely to respond to different approaches. You essentially have two options. You can get everyone you love the most together in one…
