Surrey Pride Festival - Surrey, Vancouver The Surrey Pride Society was registered in January 2012, and was formerly known as the OIS Rainbow Cultural Society which was founded in August 2000. Surrey Pride Festival 2014 The First Surrey Pride Festival and BBQ was held at Sullivan Hall on 152nd Street in July 1999. This was a small community event with a dance on the Saturday night before, while hosting a small festival with BBQ, entertainment and a few booths on the Sunday.
